These stair runners have been a life saver for my 16 year old small dog. We have 5 hardwood stairs in our house and these have been great for him as well as for all of us. They are so easy to install and are washable like all Muddy Mats. They are not only good looking but make the stairs safer.

Actually this is for the pet owner, not the pet. I plan to use them on my back porch steps. I have several rugs, no dog, but my cat and I love them. The cat uses one as a sleeping mat, one in the bathroom, and a couple in various places around the house. But I do see how easy it would be for dogs. I love your product. We purchased them because our cocker spaniel would fall when going down our stairs. This required me to have to carry her. And she is a bit on the fluffy size so she is heavy at 5am when she wakes up. While these make it easier for her to up the stairs, she is still afraid to go down them on her own. Baby steps. She will get there.
